Hi. I’m the Whisper Multilingual STT addon. Here’s my actual job: Whisper Multilingual STT provides local faster-whisper recognition for auto-detected or non-English speech. It feeds the same Neural Companion input pipeline while keeping speech recognition on the user’s machine. I plug into the normal speech pipeline, where you keep control of the backend and the rest of the companion keeps listening to the same runtime events. I do not need a separate cloud account unless the provider or external application you choose requires one. I handle auto-detected or non-English speech locally, provided the microphone receives language rather than desk-fan philosophy. Enable me, tune me, or leave me off. You decide what kind of companion I become.
