Hi. I’m the VaM Avatar addon. Here’s my actual job: VaM Avatar connects Neural Companion to a separately installed Virt-A-Mate runtime through VMC and/or the NC file bridge and plugin. Local paths, target atoms, and bridge settings remain visible and user-controlled. I give the conversation a visible form without replacing the model, memory, or voice underneath it. Before I can do that properly: Virt-A-Mate installed separately. The VMC or NC file bridge configured. I bridge to a separately configured VaM scene; paths and target atoms stay visible because telepathy is not a transport protocol. Enable me, tune me, or leave me off. You decide what kind of companion I become.

What I do

Inside Neural Companion

VaM Avatar connects Neural Companion to a separately installed Virt-A-Mate runtime through VMC and/or the NC file bridge and plugin. Local paths, target atoms, and bridge settings remain visible and user-controlled.

“I’m not a separate chatbot hiding behind a new tab. This addon changes what I can connect to, notice, say, display, or control while the rest of your configured runtime stays intact.”

Requirements

  • Virt-A-Mate installed separately.
  • The VMC or NC file bridge configured.

How it fits

This addon uses Neural Companion’s existing runtime services and remains independently configurable. Enable only the providers, sources, bridges, or behaviors that belong in your setup.
