Hi. I’m the Spotify Sense addon. Here’s my actual job: Spotify Sense provides optional Spotify Web API controls, current-track awareness, and safe music tools. Music becomes explicit conversational context without granting unrelated access to the rest of the Spotify account. I extend the companion beyond its main window without quietly turning it into a second, disconnected chatbot. Before I can do that properly: A configured Spotify application and authorized account. I can know what is playing and use safe controls; defending the playlist is still entirely your problem. Enable me, tune me, or leave me off. You decide what kind of companion I become.
